Many of you have bought or sold a home with us before and you know that there is a ton of paperwork involved in a real estate transaction. And though by law we do have to keep some of this paperwork in hard copy, we still want to do our part in saving the planet. So we have looked at ways that we can reduce the amount of paper output for our office.
One of the best ways we have found is to communicate with all of our clients by email and Facebook rather than by traditional mail. Our goal is to Go Green in all of our communications. Not all of us are into the Internet and e-mail but I think most of us have been moving toward that direction, perhaps kicking and screaming.
We are trying to make our communication as simple as we can but we need to save some of the trees that we cut down. After so many years of experience, we have a lot of knowledge that we would like to pass on to buyers and sellers. And the best way we have found to do it is on this new website with plenty of video. (It seems we would rather watch a video than sometimes read. I wonder where that came from!)
We would love for some of you that are still getting our paper newsletter to let us e-mail you our new electronic format which will be very easy to maneuver through. My problem is a lot of you have changed your e-mail addresses through the years and I don’t have a current e-mail address for you. I would love for you to drop us a line and give us your current address. We promise we will not abuse it. We also promise if you prefer to have the newsletter on paper, we will also continue to do so. I’m not perfect on this end and if I want to keep something and read it later, I do have a tendency to print it. But I do read all of my books on my iPad or my iPhone and I can highlight sentences or para- graphs or pull them out to save them in another place so I can refer back to them, so I don’t have to print. So, like you, I am learning to become “more green!” So please help us by sending us your current e-mail.
